Internship from Home Job Description

Thank you for your interest in interning with the Carlucci campaign for Congress! David Carlucci is a five-term Democratic State Senator currently representing New York's 38th district in Rockland and Westchester counties. He is running in NY-17 to succeed retiring Rep. Nita Lowey in Congress in order to make the area more affordable and expand access to quality, low-cost healthcare. There is a competitive Democratic primary for the seat, which will take place on June 23rd. June 23rd will also be the end date for the position. 

With the coronavirus outbreak in mind, we are now offering internships from home! Until the pandemic is under control, interns will work remotely under the supervision of and in communication with senior staff. For interns outside the district, working remotely can continue through the election.

Interns will be responsible for:
  • Voter contact (over the phone)
  • Research
  • Facilitating data entry and organization
  • Performing administrative tasks
  • Volunteer recruitment

The ideal candidate will be:
  • Energetic
  • Self-motivated
  • Computer literate
  • Comfortable talking on the phone
  • Confident

Minimum hour requirement is 8-12 hours per week. This is an unpaid internship, and no expenses will be reimbursed unless discussed otherwise. On-the-job training will be provided. No experience is required!
