Job Description:

Kiki de Montparnasse is seeking Spring 2024 interns to assist within our office and NYC atelier. As the lines between underwear and streetwear continue to blur, Kiki de Montparnasse leads in bridging this gap of dress and undress with the highest standards of design. Beautifully crafted using the highest quality materials, Kiki de Montparnasse offers inspired lingerie, ready-to-wear and more, all created with exploration, liberation and seduction in mind. We are looking for highly motivated individuals to join our team and help both the production and design teams. This internship is for school credit only.

Qualifications:

- Candidates must be detail-oriented, organized, and have a positive work ethic

- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Powerpoint)

- Ability to use Adobe a plus (Photoshop, Indesign)

- Dedicate 2 - 3 full work days per week

Daily responsibilities include:

- Support development/design team as well as the rest of our team as needed

- Counter-sourcing fabric/trims with agents/mills and at local stores

- Gathering & distributing raw goods/materials to our factories in the garment district as well as our in-house atelier

- Maintaining sample and production inventory of all fabrics and trims

- Organizing and maintaining all samples, as well as fabric/trim closets

- Corresponding between the production team, design team and our factories (in-house atelier as well as midtown and overseas factories)

- Assisting with quality control as needed

- Organizing fit samples, TOPs, and maintaining an inventory of samples on hand

- Helping to maintain the studio, design/development racks and design/development closet

- Work closely with the design team on developing new collections as well as the production team on final production of garments
