Wholesale Intern

This is a full time position and the intern must be able to commit to working a 40h/week, 9am-6pm schedule with Mon-Thu in office and Friday WFH 

 

AMI is a French based brand founded in 2011 by Creative Designer Alexander Matiussi. Created in Paris and inspired by this city ever since, AMI offers stylish and comprehensive wardrobes for men and women, blurring the boundaries between casual and chic. Role Overview
AMI is currently seeking a full time Wholesale Intern who will report to the Area Manager for North America starting mid May 2024. The student will learn the company’s objectives, environment, techniques, and strategies that the sales team uses on a daily basis.


Job Description

 

HOW YOU WILL CONTRIBUTE

  • Assist the Area Manager in preparing selling and shipping reporting
  • Create Product Knowledge decks for wholesale accounts
  • Conduct market research for potential new accounts
  • Communicate with approved specialty store clients to assist with daily needs and requests
  • Assist with preparation of materials such as line sheets and photos
  • Accompany the sales team on local product knowledge clinics
  • Work collaboratively with other departments
  • Intern will have exposure to Department Stores, E-commerce Accounts and Boutiques
  • Full time paid internship

 

WHO YOU ARE

  • Strong communication skills, both oral and written
  • Able to work independently and meet deadlines
  • Proficiency in Excel and all Microsoft programs
  • Strong interest in luxury fashion
  • Able to receive academic credit
  • Able to work in our NYC office
  • French speaking is a plus
