Assembler – Electronic/Mechanical Assemblies

This is not a cubicle job. This is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity. You would be one of the key people in a high visibility project.

RESPONSIBILITIES

You would be working with the CTO's team directly in all stages of design, implementation, testing, rollout etc. of all the major features and capabilities of our flagship platform ENFORCER. On any given day you may need to:

  • Build mechanical or electronic assemblies from process documents
  • Assemble, test, and troubleshoot PCBA & electrical subsystems
  • Research, source and acquire OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer) components
  • Interact with fabricators and suppliers of electrical parts to ensure quality and accuracy
  • Resolve technical issues and track in project management tools
  • Aid in resolving technical issues and track issue progress with project management tools
  • Help create and update existing process and inventory documents
  • Be comfortable and humble enough to wear many hats
  • And most importantly: Have a "can do" startup mindset

REQUIREMENTS

  • Associates or Bachelor’s degree in CE, EE, or related technical field
  • Minimum 2 years of relevant experience preferred, or send us your project portfolio and show off what you can do
  • Comfortable with the basic operation of electronic test equipment, including the usage of digital multi-meters, Oscilloscopes, Soldering station, etc.
  • Ability to read mechanical drawings and electronic schematics
  • Good manual dexterity and general knowledge on the safe use of hand tools
  • Experience with mechanical integration of PCBs with custom enclosures
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
  • Basic understanding of Linux or the ability to be taught
