We are looking for a focused data entry clerk to continuously update the company's databanks. He/she will liaise with and follow up with employees within the company as well as with customers to collect information.
Responsibilities:
* Gathering invoices, statements, reports, personal details, documents and information from employees, other departments and clients.
* Scanning through information to identify pertinent information.
* Correcting errors and organizing the information in a manner that will optimize swift and accurate capturing.
* Creating accurate spreadsheets.
* Entering and updating information into relevant databases.
* Ensuring data is backed up.
* Informing relevant parties regarding errors encountered.
* Storing hard copies of data in an organized manner to optimize retrieval.
* Handling additional duties from time to time.
Requirements & Skills:
To be successful in this role you will:
* Have a High School Diploma or an equivalent level of education
* Have legal authorization to work permanently in the United States
* Be able to successfully pass a criminal background check and drug test
* Be able to type a minimum of 80 WPM (words per minute) on a computer
* Have good IT skills and the ability to learn new systems
* Have a great attention to detail
* Be organized and have the ability to multi-task and adapting to changing priorities.
