Finance and Accounting Officer Intern (July 2024 Start)

Flow Turbo is a SaaS AI Sales Platform that is designed to maximize the productivity day-to-day for sales reps.

**Position Overview:**

As a Finance/Accounting Officer Intern at Flow, you will play a vital role in performing the finance and accounting functions of the organization. You will be responsible for conducting various financial analyses, including pricing analysis, pricing strategy, compensation analysis, financing options for products, financial projections, cash flow modeling, corporate finance, accounting, and venture capital financing. This internship offers an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in finance and accounting, working closely with the finance team to drive strategic decision-making and financial management.

**Roles and Responsibilities:**

1. **Pricing Analysis:** Conduct thorough pricing analysis to evaluate product pricing strategies, assess market competitiveness, and optimize pricing structures to enhance profitability and market positioning.

2. **Compensation Analysis:** Assist in conducting comprehensive compensation analysis to evaluate employee compensation packages, benchmark against industry standards, and ensure alignment with company objectives and market trends.

3. **Financing Options for Products:** Explore and analyze various financing options for products, including customer financing strategies, payment options, and financing partnerships, to enhance product accessibility and drive sales growth.

4. **Financial Projections and Cash Flow Modeling:** Support the development of financial projections and cash flow models to forecast future financial performance, assess investment opportunities, and facilitate informed decision-making by senior management.

5. **Corporate Finance and Accounting:** Assist with corporate finance and accounting tasks, including financial reporting, budgeting, variance analysis, and general ledger maintenance, ensuring compliance with accounting principles and regulatory requirements.

6. **Venture Capital Financing:** Support the finance team in evaluating venture capital financing opportunities, preparing investment proposals, conducting due diligence, and managing investor relations to secure funding for strategic initiatives.

7. **Financial Analysis and Reporting:** Prepare financial analysis reports, presentations, and dashboards to communicate key financial insights, performance metrics, and trends to internal stakeholders, facilitating data-driven decision-making.

8. **Data Analysis and Interpretation:** Analyze financial data, interpret trends, identify areas for improvement, and provide actionable recommendations to optimize financial performance, mitigate risks, and drive business growth.

9. **Ad hoc Projects:** Assist with ad hoc financial projects and initiatives as assigned by the finance team, contributing to the achievement of organizational goals and objectives.

**Qualifications:**

- Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, or Accounting.
- Expert with pricing analysis, compensation analysis, and analyzing calculations for financing options for prospective customers.
- Strong math skills with the ability to interpret financial data, conduct financial analysis, and develop financial models.
- Expert in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and other financial analysis tools.
- Expert of financial principles, accounting standards, and financial reporting requirements.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities.
- Self-motivated, proactive, and eager to learn with a strong work ethic and commitment to excellence.
- Prior internship or work experience in finance, accounting, or related field is a plus.

**Work Schedule:**

This internship position requiring a consistent commitment of at least 30 hours per week and daily touch-points.
