Video Editor

We are seeking someone to become one of our YouTube Channel video editors.  We are developing a series that will help startup companies get the funding they need to start and scale their business.  

This person will be familiar with YouTube long and short form videos, skilled at editing videos, and proficient using one or more video editing softwares, such as Adobe Premiere Video, Canva, Final Cut Pro, etc. 

You will be provided 1-2 videos per week to chop up, and get creative with.  You will begin with the videos that are already chopped up and just need creative editing.  As you gain experience, you will then work with the raw videos to chop up as well.

You will work closely with our senior management team to learn about our program, our marketing strategies, and the style of editing to be used for the videos.

Key Responsibilities:

• Video Editing- take raw footage and cut, splice, compile, and trim to make a foundational clip.

• Video Editing- With a foundational clip already created, edit the video to include effects and sounds.

Qualifications:

• Strong video editing skills.

• YouTube video experience. 

• Proficient with video editing software. 

• Creativity. 

Skills that can be taught:

• Story-telling. 

• Knowledge on financial services.
