These positions serve as a temporary seasonal Survey Technician for the Division of Lands and Minerals.

  • Operate instruments and use application of techniques to obtain the required skill and accuracy.
  • Assist Land Surveyors in setting survey monuments (digging holes with shovels and rock bars for prolonged periods).
  • Assist professional Land Surveyors in measuring or determining distances, elevations, areas, angles, land boundaries, and other features of the earth’s surface.
