This internship offers a unique opportunity to work closely with Cheryl Morris, a visionary leader and advocate for systemic change, to develop programs that make a real difference. While this is currently an unpaid role, we are actively exploring funding opportunities to offer compensation in the future.
What You’ll Do:
- Research & Analysis: Explore trends in criminal justice reform, reentry strategies, and leadership development. Gather insights from policies, successful programs, and national models to inform our initiatives.
- Policy Development: Help evaluate existing policies and draft innovative recommendations that promote equity, wellness, and rehabilitation.
- Program Design: Assist in creating holistic reentry and staff wellness models by collecting and analyzing data, identifying challenges, and brainstorming solutions.
- Collaboration: Network with criminal justice professionals, community leaders, and policymakers. Take part in meetings, contribute ideas, and help organize follow-ups.
- Presentation: Compile research into professional reports and presentations, crafting infographics and visual aids to communicate findings effectively.
