Internship Overview

Are you driven by a passion for justice and looking to gain real-world experience in policy and program development? As a Criminal Justice Research & Program Development Intern, you will work closely with founder Cheryl Morris on transformative initiatives that support equity, rehabilitation, and community well-being within the justice system.

Key Responsibilities

Research & Analysis: Investigate best practices in reentry, staff wellness, leadership development, and justice policy reform

Policy Development: Help assess existing policies and develop new recommendations grounded in equity and restorative practices

Program Design: Assist in the creation of innovative models supporting returning citizens and criminal justice professionals

Collaboration: Join calls with community leaders, policymakers, and justice advocates to gather insights and contribute to project planning

Presentation: Develop reports, briefs, and data visualizations to communicate findings and proposals clearly

Compensation Note

This is currently an unpaid internship, with the possibility of compensation should external funding be secured during your term. Eligible for college credits.
