POSITION PURPOSE / IMPORTANT APPLICATION INFORMATION

The Accounting Technician position is a technical accounting and clerical position responsible for administering a variety of accounting activities and functions within the Finance Department.

Job duties and expectations allow for onsite and remote work. Employees in this classification are scheduled onsite 50% weekly, based on the City’s needs and as determined by the Department Director. The position requires an initial 100% onsite onboarding period. Hybrid roles can be onsite more than the set minimum based on employee preference. Based on operational needs, schedules may be flexible with approval of the Accounting Division Manager and Technical Accounting Services Supervisor.
