Full-time Research Technician/Assistant
The Matsuoka lab at the Cleveland Clinic Lerner Research Institute (https://matsuoka-lab-lerner.org/) is seeking a full-time Research Technician/Assistant to join our team. Our lab focuses on uncovering the genetic mechanisms of brain development and vascularization by combining advanced molecular biology techniques with high-resolution imaging. Using zebrafish genetic models and human-derived endothelial cell lines, we aim to unravel the complex mechanisms driving cerebrovascular diversity.
We are seeking candidates with a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in biological sciences, who can spend at least a few years in assisting with both bench and administrative work in the lab. Gap-year students who wish to gain hands-on research experience before pursuing a Ph.D. or medical school are also welcome to apply (must meet the multi-year commitment requirement). The successful applicant will get involved in ongoing research projects in the lab and be expected to work on her/his independent projects under the guidance of the PI.
This role offers an excellent opportunity to gain valuable research experience and contribute to impactful scientific discoveries.
Interested individuals should submit the following materials:
