Studio Intern

About Us:  Zeam is a new streaming platform, and the live, local entertainment companion making viewers feel connected to anywhere. Brought to you by Zeam Media, powering live content for the industry's most successful platforms including Paramount+, Hulu, fuboTV, the NFL, Amazon, Roku and Apple TV.  We have just opened a new state-of-the-art studio in Times Square and are looking for an ambitious studio intern.

Title: Intern

 Role Summary: Zeam Media's NYC Studio is looking for a confident and proactive intern to join our team. The ideal candidate is interested in production and new media and will assist the Executive Producer with running the NYC creator's studio, producing live vodcasts, comedy and music shows and special events. 

Through shadowing Zeam's Executive Producer, and Studio Technical Director, our intern will learn hands-on how to produce live content from development to post production. They will assist with creative brainstorming, as well as assist with administrative responsibilities including scheduling studio times, internal organizational work, setting meetings and note taking. The intern will have weekly goal meetings with heads of departments and we will make sure there is a symbiotic and supportive workflow. 

We encourage our intern to create, and they will have full access to use the studio at no cost, and record their own shows and content. Our team will be able to support with creative feedback, as well as marketing and social roll out ideas.  

The position is hybrid, though we will need the intern to work out of our Times Square studio for training and events.  The ideal candidate would work between 5-15 hours a week depending on the intern's schedule and availability. 

 Key Responsibilities:
• Content Production: Support all facets of content production from inception to
live execution. 

• Crew Support: Assist with set up and breakdown, learn to run live cameras and equipment.

 Research and Identify Prospects: Conduct research to identify emerging and
established content creators across our six key content pillars.

• Outreach and Networking: Assist with brainstorming potential content
creators and assist with direct outreach on social media platforms.

• Studio Management: Assist the Executive Producer and tech team with all aspects of studio operations, including scheduling, equipment and facility organization and management to ensure efficient production environments.

• Collaboration with Internal Teams: Work closely with marketing and social
teams to ensure seamless integration of new content onto the platform.
