I enjoyed the firm culture and the culture of my specific group. Everyone was very smart and driven but also really nice and understanding. My group cared about our work but also people's lives outside of work which is refreshing in the field of finance.
What I wish was different
Nothing, I really enjoyed my experience this past summer.
Advice
One piece of advice I would give is to be very humble and have an insatiable hunger to learn as much as possible. Take initiative and ask a lot of questions to try to do more than just what's assigned to you. Also, make sure to network as much as possible across the firm.

What I liked
The culture at Mizuho was second to none. Everyone that I had met, regardless of position, was very welcoming and incredibly helpful throughout the process. My team gave me real day-to-day tasks too.
What I wish was different
I would have enjoyed getting to know the other security team more. I did have a fair share of real world projects both on my team as well as with the other interns, however there were a few times when I did not have a lot to work on.
Advice
Be open to network with anyone and everyone. Take advantage of time with executives by asking them questions and learn as much as you can.
